Percakapan adalah suatu kegiatan atau pekerjaan yang hampir semua manusia di bumi ini melakukannya bahkan setiap hari dan setiap waktu, tentunya dengan bahasa mereka masing-masing.
Manusia sebagai makhluk sosial pasti membutuhkan satu sama lain salah satu penghubungnya adalah komunikasi.
Berikut beberapa contoh percakapan dalam hal meminjam barang di dalam bahasa Indonesia.
Bahasa Formal
Percakapan dalam bahasa formal adalah percakapan dalam bahasa baku artinya percakapan yang dilakukan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar sesuai kaidah-kaidah yang berlaku.
Bahasa formal sering digunakan untuk acara-acara, berbicara di depan umum, berpidato, berkhotbah, memimpin rapat, berbicara dengan orang yang lebih tinggi pangkatnya, dalam situasi belajar mengajar atau dengan orang baru anda kenal.

Meminjam Pulpen sama teman sekelas.
Tono : Budi, bolehkah aku pinjam pulpen kamu sebentar…?
Budi : Tentu boleh, memangnya pulpen kamu kemana?
Tono : Pulpen saya tintanya habis, dan saya tidak punya cadangannya…
Budi : Baik tono, Ini pulpennya…
Tono : Terima kasih Budi.

Meminjam laporan bulanan di kantor.
Dinda : Hai Liam, Bos menyuruhku membuat laporan bulanan, boleh aku pinjam laporan bulan lalu yang kamu buat…?
Liam : sebentar… saya harus mencari dulu.
Dinda : Baik…
Liam : Ini dia laporannya…
Dinda : Terimakasih Liam… Nanti sore saya kembalikan saat pulang kantor.
Liam : Iya, sama-sama

Contoh percakapan bahasa indonesia tentang meminjam buku.
Irma : Budi, catatan pelajaran bahasa Indonesia kamu tadi lengkap tidak?
Budi : Iya lengkap…
Irma : Boleh aku pinjam, besok aku kembalikan?!
Budi : Boleh, tapi kamu juga mencatat pelajaran tadi kan?
Irma : Aku hanya sempat mencatat sedikit tadi, banyak catatan yang ketinggalan, karena guru terlalu cepat mendikte.
Budi : Ooo, baiklah pertemuan selanjutnya kita minta pada guru agar didikte lebih pelan.
Irma : Iya, terimakasih.
Budi : Sama-sama.
Bahasa Non Formal
Bahasa non-formal adalah bahasa tidak baku, percakapan dalam bahasa non-formal tidak menuntut aturan atau kaidah-kaidah yang berlaku dalam bahasa Indonesia. Percakapan dalam bahasa non-formal biasanya terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti di pasar, di taman, bebicara sama teman dan lain sebagainya.
Bahasa non-formal adalah bahasa yang paling sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Dalam bahasa Arab bahasa non-formal disebut juga bahasa ‘Ammiyah.
Untuk kata ganti orang dalam bahasa Indonesia non-formal yang sering dipakai:
Gue, gw, gua = Saya
Loe, Lu, ente, ko = Kamu

Meminjam Kamera sama teman lewat WhatsApp.
Ria : Hai Rin…
Rin : Ada apa loe chat gue malam-malam gini…?
Ria : Ini Rin, gw mau minjem kamera loe bentar.
Rin : Emang mau fotoin apa malam-malam gini Ria?
Ria : Gak, kamerenya buat besok, ada acara nikahan tetangga gue.
Rin : Loe fotografernya?
Ria : Kan saling membantu sesama tetangga
Rin : Bisa aja lu, okelah besok pagi-pagi kerumah gue.

Rin : Ngomong-ngomong gue gak diundang ni?
Ria : Lu sekalian gw bawa sama kamera ketempat acara !

Maminjam uang atau duit sama teman.
Mail : Ucok, ucok… Kesini sebentar !
Ucok : ngapa lu manggil-manggil gua kaya bos aja…
Mail : Gw lagi butuh ni
Ucok : Butuh apa lu? Gw tau pasti lu lagi butuh duit kan?
Mail : iya ni… 500.000 doang bulan depan gue balikin
Ucok : yaelah lu mail…. untung gw lagi banyak duit… ini duitnya.
Mail : Ini baru namanya temen…ada saat membutuhkan !
Ucok : iya… waktu butuh duit aja lu kemari..
