Keliling dunia naik sepeda ? Terdengar akan sangat melelahkan dan membutuhkan waktu yang sangat lama.
Mungkin jika kita bicara tentang orang-orang yang keliling dunia dengan mobil. Itu sudah biasa. Bagaimana jika menempuh perjalanan yang begitu jauh untuk keliling dunia naik sepeda.
Namun, itu bisa masuk di akal teman-teman, karena orang-orang zaman dulu bahkan bekelana keliling dunia dengan jalan kaki, menggunakan kuda, atau menggunakan onta.
Keliling dunia naik sepeda ternyata sudah banyak dilakukan oleh beberapa orang dari seluruh dunia.
Keliling dunia dengan sepeda dianggap lebih murah dan memberi pengalaman yang fantastis, karena bisa menikmati keindahan dunia di setiap jengkal kayuhan sepeda.
Keliling dunia menggunakan sepeda dengan pasangan mungkin akan jauh lebih menyenangkan. Inilah yang dilakukan oleh 5 pasangan berikut yang keliling dunia dengan menggunakan sepeda versi Ghoorib.
Diego dan Marlies
Diego yang berasal dari Indonesia melakukan perjalanan melewati 23 negara bersama pasangannya Marlies yang merupakan perempuan berkebangsaan belanda.
Pasangan ini melakukan perjalanan sejauh 12000 Km dari Belanda ke Indonesia. Perjalanan menggunakan sepeda ini mereka lakukan untuk membawa pesan kebaikan bagi orang lain untuk membantu anak-anak, tumbuhan dan hewan.
Mereka berhasil mengumpulkan donasi sebesar 21.576.30 euro dari croud-founding untuk setiap 1 km kayuhan sepeda mereka.
Uang tersebut mereka sumbangkan ke 3 organisasi yaitu Lesatri sayang anak, Kebun kumara, dan Jakarta aniamal aid network.
Mereka memilih bersepeda selama 11 bulan dari belanda ke Indonesia karena mereka menganggap tujuan dari perjalanan adalah mengetahui dan merasakan setiap perubahan yang terjadi di sekitar kita.
Mereka kagum dengan ide tentang hubungan harmonis antara manusia, tumbuhan, dan hewan. Msekipun mereka mengalami tantangan dan tidak tahu apa yang akan terjadi kedepannya di perjalanan mereka. Mereka percaya semua akan baik-baik saja.
Mereka mengatakan bahwa pelajaran dari sebuah perjalanan adalah kita tidak hanya hidup di dunia biasa tetapi kita berbagi dengan yang lainnya.
Peyman dan Matilda
Mereka bertemu di Helsinki, Finlandia pada tahun 2016. Awalnya mereka tinggal berpindah-pindah di sebuah mobil minivan selama dua tahun.
Mereka mengumpulkan uang untuk membeli sepeda dan melakukan perjalanan keliling dunia dalam waktu 10 tahun kedepan.
Pada awal tahun 2018 mereka mulai merakit sendiri sepeda mereka agar tau setiap kompenen dari sepeda.
Akhir tahun 2018 mereka menikah dan mulai melakukan perjalanan keliling dunia dengan sepeda dari Helsinki menuju stockholm di swedia.
Dari swedia mereka menuju ke Denmark kemudian ke Jerman, Prancis, kemudian melewati laut medeterania untuk menuju ke spanyol kemudia ke maroko meleawati gurun sahara sepanjang lebih dari 2000 km kemudia ke Senegal, dan The Gambia.
Mereka sedang melanjutkan perjalanan keliling dunia naik sepeda dalam 10 tahun. Mereka banyak berbagi cerita dan update tentang perjalanan mereka di website dan akun youtube mereka di Nomad’s Trail.
Olga dan Michel
Olga berasal dari rusia dan pergi ke hamburg untuk magang dan kemudia bekerja sebagai desainer kemasan.
Michel sendiri adalah seorang insinyur mesin asal Jerman. Pindah ke hamburg untuk bekerja dan bertemu dengan Olga karena kebetulan mereka tinggal satu apartemen.
Menurut mereka keliling dunia menggunakan sepeda tantangan secara fisik dan mental. Duduk di atas sepeda jauh lebih menyenangkan dan menginpirasi daripada di kursi kantor di depan komputer.
Mereka telah 4 tahun keliling dunia dengan sepeda melewati 43 negara. Mereka menempuh jarak 5000 Km dengan menghabiskan 3400 jam mengayuh sepeda.
Olga dan Michel selalu mengupdate kisah perjalanan epik mereka di Blog dan Youtube mereka di Rausgefahren.
Fred dan Sveta
Fred berasal dari Perancis dan Sveta berasal dari Russia. Mereka sejak tahun 2015 mereka memulai perjalanan keliling dunia dengan sepeda. Sekaligus menjadi volunteer.
Uniknya, pasangan ini menggunakan sepeda tandem, yaitu sepeda yang disambung untuk 2 orang.
Dengan sepeda inilah mereka telah mengelilingi USA, Portugal, perancis, dan Amerika selatan.
Terakhir mereka membagikan video perjalanan mereka 2 tahun lalu di youtube.
Naoki Goffi dan Sori Park
Naoki Goffi adalah pria berdarah Jepang-italia dan Sori Park dari Korea Selatan. Pasangan ini melakukan perjalanan keliling dunia memakai sepeda.
Mereka telah melakukan perjalanan sejauh 7000 km, melewati Thailand, Kamboja, Vietnam, Laos, Myammar, Malaysia, Singapur, Indonesia, New Zealand dan Australia.
Naoki adalah seorang fotografer dan videografer sedangkan Sori seorang blogger. Mereka membagikan cerita dan journal perjalanan mereka di blog dan di akun youtube off course is of course.
