Apa Itu Offers & Suggestions?

Offers
Dalam bahasa inggris offers berarti memberikan tawaran kepada seseorang berupa bantuan atau benda, yang mana tawaran tersebut bisa diterima atau ditolak.

Mira : Oh, hi Hani. (Oh, hai Hani)
Hani : Hi,
Mira : You’re not home yet? (Kamu belum pulang)
Hani : I’m waiting my mom, usually she’s already here. (aku lagi nunggu mamaku, biasanya dia sudah sampai)
Mira : have you called her? (Udah telpon?)
Hani : Yup, but it can’t connect. (Sudah, tapi tidak dapat tersambung)
Mira : it’s late now, how about we go home with my motorbike? (udah telat ni, bagaimana kalau pulang dengan motorku saja?)
Hani : Thank you, That would be lovely.
Mira : Ok let’s go.
Contoh 2: Dialog bahasa inggris menawarkan kopi.
John : Hey mate, what are you busy with? (kawan, lagi sibuk apa?)
Budi : I’m doing my article, I’ve to finish it tonight. (lagi ngerjain artikel, mesti siap malam ini)
John : But you look a bit sleepy, bro. (tapi kamu nampak agak ngantuk)
Budi : You’re right, I’m usually asleep at this hour. (iya loh, biasanya jam segini aku sudah tidur)
John : Would you like a booster drink? (mau minuman penguat?)
Budi : What kind of booster drink do you have? You know I ain’t like soda. (minuman penguat apa?, kamu tau aku tidak suka soda)
John : No, it’s not. this is a cup of coffee, I got the most delicious coffee on my trip to Aceh last month. (enggak, ini cuma kopi, aku dapat kopi terenak saat perjalananku ke aceh bulan lalu)
Budi : I can’t say no to that, give me that. (gak bisa bilang gak, mana bawa sini)
John : wait, I’m going to do some magic in the kitchen. (bentar, aku racik dulu di dapur)
Contoh 3: Dialog bahasa inggris menawarkan bantuan membawa buku ke ruang guru.
Khansa : What did the teacher say? (apa guru bilang tadi?)
Amirah : She tells me to bring our notebook to her room. (beliau nyuruhku bawa buku catatan kita ke ruangnya)
Khansa : This seems too much. May I help you carry these books? (nampaknya ini agak banyak. bolehkah aku bantu bawa?)
Amirah : That will be great. Thank you. (itu akan sangat membantu, terimakasih)

Contoh 4: Dialog bahasa inggris menawarkan dan menolak tawaran pekerjaan.
Hady : Hey buddy, how are you? (Hei kawan, pa kabar lu?)
Khan : Not much, (biasa aja)
Hady : There is a job vacancy in my office, the salary is high. Would you work with me then? (ada lowongan pekerjaan di kantorku, gajinya tinggi. mau enggak kerja sama aku?)
Khan : I really appreciate that, but I’m happy with my current job even though the pay is small. (aku sangat hargai itu, tapi aku bahagia dengan kerjaanku sekarang walaupun gajinya kecil)
Hady : That is your choice. If you change your mind you know my number. (itu pilihan kamu, kalau berubah pikiran kamu tau nomor hp ku)
Khan : Thank you.

Besara : The rain is getting heavier. (hujan makin lebat aja nih)
Qanita : Oh hey, yeah it is. (oh hei, iya betul)

Emily : You look very confuse (kamu nampak bingung sekali)

Erick : You can do that little by little. (kamu bisa lakukan sedikit demi sedikit)
