Percakapan bertema weather dan season dalam bahasa Inggris adalah percakapan yang berisikan pembicaraan mengenai weather yang artinya cuaca dan season yang artinya musim. Cuaca dan musim disetiap wilayah di seluruh dunia berbeda-beda dan berganti dengan siklus yang teratur.

Weather artinya cuaca. Cuaca berubah-ubah setiap harinya. Dalam bahasa inggris ada banyak istilah weather (cuaca) antara lain:
- Sunny adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi cerah dengan matahari yang bersinar terang tanpa awan di langit.
- Cloudy adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi berawan tanpa sinar matahari atau sedang mendung.
- Partly Cloudy adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi berawan namun sinar matahari juga bersinar terang secara bersamaan.
- Rainy adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi hujan dan langit tampak gelap oleh awan yang hitam dan tanpa sinar matahari. Jika hujan lebat maka gunakanlah kata Heavy rain.
- Light Rain adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi gerimis disebabkan oleh hujan yang turun dalan intensitas rendah, jika kamu keluar rumah kamu bisa basah tapi tidak sampai basah kuyup. Dalam bahasa Inggris juga disebut dengan istilah drizzle atau sprinkles.
- Storm adalah situasi dimana cuaca dalam kondisi badai, ada banyak istilah badai dalam bahasa Inggris yaitu: Thunderstorms (guruh/guntur/petir), Ice Storms (badai es), Tornadoes, Lightning (petir/kilat), Blizzards (badai salju), Tropical Storms (badai tropis), Hurricanes (badai ganas).

Pada contoh 1 ini ceritanya seseorang menelpon temannya menanyakan perihal rencana nongkrong, tapi terkendala hujan sehingga mereka mengubah jadwal nongkrong mereka di malam hari. Kira-kira begini terjemahannya…
Emde: Hai, apa kamu siap untuk pergi?
Donie: Aku pikir kita harus nongkrong, tapi disini hujan ne
Emde: Hujan lebat atau gerimis?
Donie: Aku rasa akan hujan lebat
Emde: Jadi, gimana rencana kita?
Donie: Aku prediksi malam nanti cuaca akan bagus
Emde: Baiklah, terdengar mantaps
Donie: Ya, aku jemput kamu nanti di rumah

B: Membosankan, guru nyuruh kami untuk “berbagi dengan teman sekelas”
A: Aku tau ini pembelajaran berjudul “berbagi pengalaman” kan?
B: Yaya, duhhh
A: Gimana kalau kita pergi mancing nenti sore?
B: Aku ikut
A: Aku sudah cek nanti sore berawan
B: Mantaps tu, kita gak akan kebakar sinar matahari

Jadi dari percakapan pada contoh 2 ini saya mau bahas sedikit tentang apa arti share with your class, jadi kalau kita artikan dari segi perkata maka artinya berbagi dengan kelas kamu. Tapi arti sebenarnya tidak seperti itu, arti share with your class jika diartikan secara lengkap sesuai konteks percakapan adalah Berbagi dengan teman sekelas, karena arti your class disini adalah (teman sekelas).

Percakapan Bahasa Inggris Bertema Season
Season artinya musim. Musim berganti dalam waktu yang agak lama ketimbang weather. Setiap negara di berbaai belahan dunia punya musim yang berbeda-beda, ada negara yang hanya memiliki 2 musim dan ada negara-negara yang mengalami 4 musim. Berikut beberapa istilah weather (musim) dalam bahasa Inggris:
- Rainy Season adalah musim hujan, seperti di Indonesia dan negara-negara lain yang beriklim tropis umumnya mengalami musim hujan dari bulan oktober hingga april, dalam jangka waktu tersebut curah hujan akan meningkat dari biasanya bahkan bisa menyebabkan banjir di beberapa daerah yang rawan.
- Dry Season adalah musim kering/kemarau, seperti contohnya di Indonesia dan negara-negara yang memiliki 2 musim biasanya mengalami musim kering atau kemarau dari bulan april hingga oktober, pada saat musim tersebut curah hujan berkurang bahkan jarang dan bisa-bisa mengakibatkan kemarau dan kekeringan.
- Spring artinya musim semi. Musim semi (spring) adalah salah satu dari empat musim yang terjadi di wilayah yang beriklim subtropis. Wilayah-wilayah yang berada di bumi bagian utara biasanya akan mengalami musim semi dari bulan maret hingga bula juni sedangkan di bagian selatan musim semi terjadi dari bulan september hingga bulan desember. Musim semi terjadi saat peralihan dari musim dingin ke musim panas, suhu udara rata-rata hangat dan tumbuh-tumbuhan mulai mekar setelah melewati musim dingin.
- Summer artinya musim panas. Musim panas (summer) adalah musim dengan suhu udara hangat hingga panas di daerah yang beriklim subtropis, orang-orang dinegara tersebut biasanya pergi ke pantai dan berjemur dan bertepatan dengan liburan sekolah.
- Autumn/Fall artinya musim gugur. Musim gugur (autumn/fall) adalah peralihan ke musim dingin dan tumbuhan mulai berguguran karena suhu sudah mulai dingin dan sejuk.
- Winter artinya musim dingin atau bersalju. Musim dingin (winter) adalah musim dengan kondisi cuaca yang sangat dingin bahkan disertai dengan badai salju, pada musim dingin biasanya waktu siang lebih panjang ketimbang waktu malam.
