Beberapa tahun terakhir departemen pendidikan pemerintah Kuwait membuka peluang bagi putra-putri Indonesia untuk belajar bahasa Arab secara intensif di Kuwait university.
Jalur pendaftarannya melalui Keduataan Besar Republik Indonesia (KBRI) Kuwait, untuk jadwal pendaftarannya biasanya dilaksanakan pada bulan juli atau bisa mengecek langsung informasinya di website KBRI Kuwait atau instagram Persatuan Pelajar Indonesia (PPI) Kuwait disini. 
Negara Kuwait adalah salah satu negara di timur tengah, disebelah selatan berbatasan dengan Arab Saudi dan di utara berbatasan dengan Irak.
Negara yang ibu kotanya bernama Kuwait City ini adalah salah satu negara yang kaya minyak di timur tengah. Pada tahun 2001 hingga 2009, Kuwait menempati urutan tertinggi dalam segi indeks pembangunan Manusia.
Mata uangnya adalah Kuwait Dinar (KD) yang merupakan mata uang dengan nilai tertinggi di dunia melampaui US Dollar dan Euro. Bahasa Utama negara ini adalah bahasa Arab namun bahasa Inggris juga dipakai dalam hal bisnis.
Dengan iklim terkering di dunia kuwait memiliki 2 musim, musim dingin dan musim panas. untuk lebih mengenal negara kuwait bisa cek informasinya disini.
Beasiswa belajar bahasa Arab ini berupa program non-degree atau tanpa gelar selama 3 semester atau kurang lebih 1 tahun termasuk musim panas, yang sangat cocok bagi kamu yang ingin meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Arab.
Khususnya bagi mahasiswa jurusan pendidikan bahasa Arab dan jurusan sastra Arab yang telah menyelesaikan masa studi S-1 atau lulusan SMA/MA/Pesantren yang memiliki latar belakang bahasa Arab.
Juga terbuka lebar bagi kamu yang diluar jurusan dan tingkatan tersebut tapi memiliki dan memenuhi persyaratan umum antara lain:
- Berkewarganegaraan Republik Indonesia dan usia kamu berkisar 18-27 tahun saat proses pendaftaran dilakukan.
- Minimal lulusan SMA/MA atau yang sederajat.
- Bersedia untuk mengikuti secara penuh program bahasa Arab di Kuwait university selama 3 semester (Semester 1, 2 dan semester musim panas) yang biasanya dimulai pada bulan september*
- Bersedia mematuhi aturan kurikulum, peraturan kegiatan pembelajaran serta aturan di asrama milik Kuwait university.
Beasiswa ini Fully Funded artinya semua ditanggung oleh pemberi beasiswa. Jika kamu lulus dan terpilih sebagai penerima beasiswa ini kamu akan pendapatkan:
- Biaya tiket keberangkatan dari jakarta atau salah satu kota di Indonesia menuju Kuwait.
- Biaya Pulang dari Kuwait kembali ke Indonesia setelah selesainya masa program belajar.
- Biaya kursus serta biaya buku.
- Tempat tinggal atau asrama selama masa belajar.
- Konsumsi selama tinggal di Asrama.
Bagi kamu yang tertarik dan memenuhi syarat yang ditentukan bisa langsung mendaftar pada saat dibukanya pendaftran sesuai jadwal* yang telah diinformasikan di atas.
Dokumen-dokumen yang harus disiapkan anatara lain:
- Surat pernyataan dalam bahasa Inggris yang ditandatangani oleh pendaftar serta orang tua atau wali sesuai format yang dilampirkan di surat edaran beasiswa.
- CV pendaftar beasiswa dengan format yang sudah dilampirkan juga di surat edaran beasiswa.
- Paspor RI
- Ijazah SMA/MA atau sederajat, dan diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Arab oleh penerjemah tersumpah dan dilegalisasi oleh kementrian hukum dan HAM RI, Kementrian luar negeri RI dan kedutaan besar Kuwait di Jakarta.
- Surat Keterangan Catatan Kepolisian (SKCK) yang diterjemahkan kedalam bahasa Arab oleh penerjemah tersumpah dan dilegalisasi oleh kementrian hukum dan HAM RI, Kementrian luar negeri RI dan kedutaan besar Kuwait di Jakarta.
- Surat keterangan sehat dari Rumah Sakit (RS) atau klinik dalam bahasa Arab ataupun bahasa Inggris.
- Pasfoto berwarna ukuran 4×6 cm dengan latar belakang foto berwarna biru.
