Game di ere modern, game sudah bukan sekedar hobi lagi, tapi sudah menjadi pekerjaan dan bahkan menjadi sumber penghasilan utama bagi pemainnya.
Game dan kehidupan remaja sangat sering dikaitkan, bukan tanpa sebab, game memang identik dengan remaja dan data menyebutkan bahwa remaja adalah pemain game nomor satu terbanyak.
Terlepas ada juga bapak-bapak yang sudah tua yang masih berkutat dengan game.
Sekarang ini game sudah punya kompetisi e-sport khusus yang bergengsi, baik di tingkat nasional maupun internasional.

Wartawan: Anak ibu sekolah disini?
Orang Tua: Iya, hari ini pembagian rapor.
Wartawan: Baik, berarti anak ibu masih remaja?
Orang Tua: Iya, baru 16 tahun.
Wartawan: Apakah anak ibu sering bermain game?
Orang Tua: Iya, sering sekali saya lihat anak saya main game, bahkan sampai larut malam.
Wartawan: Apakah ibu menegur dan menasehatinya?
Orang Tua: Iya, pastinya saya selalu menegur. Tapi saya lihat dia suka sekali bermain game.
Wartawan: Kira-kira bu, apa pengaruh game bagi kehidupan anak ibu?
Orang Tua: Banyak pak pengaruhnya, kadang telat bangun untuk pergi sekolah, mengantuk di sekolah, lupa makan, kadang lupa mengerjakan PR juga.
Wartawan: Apalagi bu pengaruhnya?
Orang Tua: Ya, banyak waktu yang dihabiskan buat main game, jadinya ada kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang prioritas terabaikan.
Wartawan: Apakah itu terjadi setiap hari bu?
Orang Tua: Tidak juga, cuma sesekali. Saya sering menasehatinya juga.
Wartawan: Baik buk terimakasih atas waktunya.
Orang Tua: Sama-sama.

Remaja: Nambah temen, lebih tau banyak kosakata bahasa inggris, buat ngelatih kecepatan juga…
Penanya: Udah pernah ikutan kompetisi game e-sport gak nih?
Remaja: Belum, Cuma ikut-ikutan challange di Youtube.
Penanya: Jadi, kamu punya channel youtube? Khusus konten game?
Remaja: Iya, khusus konten game, udah dimonetisasi juga.

Anas: Ente sih, ingetnya PUBG mulu.
Budi: Iya nih, pandemi dan sekolah online membosankan, jaadinya ane sering main game dan lupa waktu dan jadi sering begadang juga.
Anas: Duh,… kacau dong.
Budi: Iya, gimana cara keluar dari kekacauan ini, nas?
Anas: Ane pernah juga sih ngalamin kecanduan game, malas-malasan, begadang…

Anas: Iyalah, hal pertama yang ane lakuin adalah ngejauhin smartphone 1 jam sebelum tidur, biasa nya ane tidur jam 10 malam, jadi jam 9 hp udah ane simpan.

Anas: Iya coba aja, karena kalau kita bisa bangun tepat waktu dan nguasain waktu pagi, semua waktu dalam sehari itu jadi lebih mudah kita kelola.
Budi: Iyasih…
Anas: Apalagi kita masih remaja, seharusnya kita lebih aktf dan produktif dari orang yang udah tua.
Game bukan gak boleh, cuman harus bisa atur waktu aja.
Budi: Iya bener juga sampeyan.
