Ghoorib – Khabib Nurmagomedov mencatat sejarah di dunia bela diri campuran UFC sekaligus pamit untuk pensiun sebagai petarung tak terkalahkan sepanjang karirnya dengan torehan 29 menang dan 0 Kekalahan. Sebelum menjadi petarung terbaik UFC, Khabib Nurmagomedov pernah menjuarai kejuaraan Combat Sambo dunia sebanyak dua kali.
Khabib Abdulmanapovich Nurmuhammadov adalah keturunan avar Dagestan, Rusia. Ia mengawali karir profesionalnya di PFL pada saat umur 18 tahun. 24 oktober 2020 adalah hari terakhir Khabib Nurmagomedov beratarung di octagon.
Khabib Nurmagomedov pensiun pada umur 32 tahun dengan rekor cemerlang bersih tidak terkalahkan. Sekalipun kakinya cedera 3 minggu sebelum pertandingan, tidak menyulutkan semangat petarung muslim yang berjuluk “The Eagle” tersebut dalam mengalahkan lawan terakhirnya Justin Gaetjhe.
Sebelum mengalahkan Justin Gaetjhe, Kahbib sudah terlebih dahulu mengalahkan petarung-petarung UFC terkenal seperti Conor Mc Gregor, Dustin Poirer, Aliaquinta, Edson Barboza dan petarung-petarung top lainnya.
Awalnya Khabib “The Eagle” Nurmagomedov ingin mencapai rekor 30-0 dalam karirnya sesuai keinginan ayahnya sebelum meninggal, namun ketika mendapat tawaran bertarung dengan justin gaetjhe ia harus berdiskusi selama 3 hari dengan ibunya dan berjanji itu adalah pertandingan terakhirnya dan ia tidak mungkin kembali ke pertarungan tanpa bimbingan langsung dari ayahnya yang juga sebagai pelatihnya.
Kahbib Nurmagomedov sebagai petarung yang beragama Islam sudah menjadi legenda dan pensiun, berikut petarung UFC beragama Islam selain Khabib Nurmagomedov yang populer dan diprediksi punya karir cemerlang di dunia beladiri kompetisi UFC.

Khamzat Chimaev adalah petarung muslim pendatang baru di kompetisi UFC. Ia baru tiga kali bertarung di UFC dan ketiganya dimenangi telak olehnya, dua diantaranya ia selesaikan dalam waktu 10 hari, pertandingan pertama ia hanya terkena pukulan dua kali pertarungan kedua tanpa pukulan dan pertandingan ketiga di UFC ia melawan Meerschaert dengan hanya satu tinjuan.
Sama halnya seperti Kahbib Nurmagomedov, Khamzat Chimaev punya rekor bersih tak terkalahkan di semua kompetisi beladiri campuran profesional dengan rekor 8 Menang 0 Kekalahan.
Khamzat Chimaev merupakkan orang chechnya, Rusia. Ia berlatih dan tinggal di Swedia. Khamzat Cimaev yang berjuluk “Borz” Atau serigala tersebut sering disamakan dengan Khabib Nurmagomedov. Umurnya yang masih 26 tahun tidak menutup kemungkinan baginya untuk menjadi pengganti Khabib Nurmagomedov sebagai petarung muslim top di kompetisi Ultimate Fighter Championship.

Islam Makhachev hampir selalu tampak di setiap pertandingan Khabib Nurmagomedov, bagaimana tidak ia adalah sahabat sejak kecil Khabib Nurmagomedov, mereka dilatih secara bersamaan oleh ayah Khabib, alm. Abdulmaf Nurmagomedov.
Islam Makhachev adalah lawan sparing dan latihan Khabib Nurmagomedov, merka punya postur ukuran badan yang sama dan berkompetisi di kelas yang sama di UFC Lightweight.
Islam Makhchev diprediksi sendiri oleh Khabib Nurmagomedov akan menjadi penggantinya sebagai petarung nomor 1 di kelas ringan 155 lbs.
Ayah Khabib, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov pada sebuah wawancara oktober, 2019 pernah memprediksikan kalau Islam Makhachev akan menggantikan posisi Khabib Nurmagomedov sebagai pemegang sabuk Lightweight UFC, Ia menganggap Islam Makhachev bisa mengalahkan siapapun di kelasnya, bagaimana tidak, dari sejak kecil ia selalu menjadi lawan Khabib Nurmagomedov untuk latihan dan sparing.

- Asal: Dagestan, Russia
Petarung UFC yang beragama Islam lainnya yang juga datang dari Dagestan, Russia adalah Zabit Magomedsharipov. Rekor profesionalnya hanya sekali kalah dari 20 pertandingan.
Master San Shou ini juga sering dijuluki The Shaolin of UFC, karena keahliannya bertandingnya yang mirip kungfu.
Saat ini Zabit Magomedsharipov bersaing di kelas bulu UFC. Posisinya sekarang berada di peringkat 3 dikelasnya, dan diyakini bisa manyabet sabuk juara UFC dalam beberapa tahun kedepan.
Ottman Azaitar
- Julukan: Bulldozer
- Rekor: 13-0-0
- Asal: Rabat, Maroko
Petarung UFC yang beragama Islam selanjutnya adalah Ottman Azaitar yang datang dari Rabat, Maroko. Ia punya rekor bersih seperti khabib Nurmagomedov dengan rekor tak terkalahkan di semua pertandingan.
Petarung beladiri campuran yang berjulukan Buldozer ini diprediksi akan menjadi petarung yang sukses dan akan mengambil sabuk juara UFC dalam beberpa tahun kedepan.
